NIKE X JD SPORTS: GLOBAL AIR COLLECTIVE HOLIDAY
Role: Art Director
The Nike x JD Sports Global Air Collective holiday campaign reinforced JD’s role as Nike’s “Home of Air.” As Art Director, I led post-production to align design and motion with the mansion-style shoot location, and guided the creative for retail installations across flagship stores and out-of-home placements.
CREATIVE DIRECTION + POST-PRODUCTION
My primary focus on this campaign was leading the art direction in post-production. The shoot took place inside a historic mansion, and I worked to translate the character of the location into the final creative. By using the mansion’s architectural details and atmosphere as inspiration, I guided the application of design elements, motion graphics, and video effects to ensure they felt integrated with the space. This approach allowed the visuals to feel not only elevated but also cohesive, tying the story back to the environment where it was captured.
Beyond traditional editing, I was responsible for making sure every effect, texture, and transition was intentional. I used the grandeur of the location—its lighting, materials, and scale—as creative direction for the design team. This attention to detail ensured that the post-production elements enhanced rather than distracted, allowing the final campaign to carry the same richness and authenticity as the setting itself.
RETAIL
I also spearheaded the creative for retail integration, overseeing both design and placement of in-store and out-of-home assets. My role involved setting the vision for digital podiums, large-scale exterior screens, escalator portals, and motion content featured in flagship locations including Times Square, Chicago State Street, and American Dream Mall, as well as 2,200 JD Sports and Finish Line stores nationwide. By carrying the campaign aesthetic into physical retail environments, I helped create a consistent brand experience that extended beyond digital channels.
APP + EMAIL
For email and app content, I directed the creative to connect each artist’s story with a specific Air Max silhouette. We paired product storytelling with personal quotes pulled from interviews, giving the copy an authentic voice while driving holiday sales. This approach aligned the product with each artist’s unique style and helped bring their connection to Air Max to life across digital platforms.
WEBSITE
For web, we modeled the CDP pages to mimic the in-store window displays, adding in direct shopping links and a blog post that featured each talent and their Air Max silhouettes.
